In 2003, Ippei Inoue entered the Brass Department in Trombone performance at Berklee College of Music, then transferred to the Composition Department. In 2006, Inoue graduated from Berklee College of Music with the highest honors with a B.A. in Composition.
In 2007, Inoue entered the Master's Program in Composition at the Manhattan School of Music, where he graduated first in his class in 2009.
Since Inoue returned to Japan in the fall of 2010, he has been involved in music
production for TV programs such as the music program "NIHON MEIKYOKU ALBUM" (BS-TBS), the science program "COSMIC FRONT" (NHK-BS), and the animation program "BLUE PERIOD" (TBS).
Inoue has also arranged and produced music for HYDE, Gospellers, KOBUDO, Yoshimi Tendo, Fuyumi Sakamoto, Kenichi Nagira, Ayano Uema, Yu Shirota, Dozan Fujiwara x SINSKE,
and many others. Inoue can work on composition, arrangement, and orchestration in a wide variety of styles, mainly classical, but also with various styles such as film music, jazz, and big band. Inoue has extensive experience with Macintosh-based PCs, and can quickly and accurately produce scores using notation software “Finale”.
